Responsibilities:

• Approving all bills and payrolls of the town, as submitted by each department, for accuracy, legality and appropriation.
• Processing the payment of town bills.
• Recording of all cash received by the town by classification, fund, etc.
• Preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports and state reports.
• All other duties as more fully described in MGL secs. 55 through 61 of chap. 41.
