Senior Citizen Flu Clinic Schedule Confirmed, 11/20, 11/21 & 11/29

The Senior Citizen Flu Clinic Schedule is confirmed as Scituate Board of Health has received the vaccine. Flu Clinics will be held as follows:

St. Mary’s Parish Center

November 20, 2006

10 am- 11 am (A-G)
1 pm- 2 pm (H- M)

November 21, 2006

10 am – 11am (N-S)
1 pm- 2 pm (T-Z)

Central Park

November 29, 2006

10 am- 11 am

Vaccine priority is for senior citizens 65 and over, and adults 18 and over with a chronic medical disorders, women who will be pregnant during the flu season, and providers of direct care to high-risk persons.

Pneumonia vaccine will be offered at the clinic. It is given only once to those 65 or over. A second dose may be given is the recipient was under 65 when the first dose was given and it has been more than 5 years since the last dose. Please check with your physician to see if the vaccine is needed.

Winter Recreation Sign-up, 11/18

Winter registration begins Saturday, November 18th from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Scituate High School.

We do not accept over the phone or early registrations.
