POLICE AUCTION

The Scituate Police Department will sell abandoned and unclaimed property by means of an online auction conducted at the website www.propertyroom.com. See website for rules.

If anyone should believe that an item up for auction belongs to them, please contact Officer V. Barrows, custodian of property at 781-545-1212, ext 200.

The police department will sell at auction unclaimed property including bicycles, telephones, stereos, cameras, watches, jewelry, clothing, and personal articles. The auction is on-going at this time.

Residents may attend their own Town's event at no charge. Proof of residency is required.

List of some of the materials accepted: hobby/artist supplies, photography chemicals, fiberglass resins, adhesives, flammable liquids and aerosols, gasoline and motor oil mixtures, tire cleaners, transmission fluid, degreasers, carbuertor cleaner, antifreeze, brake fluid, marine and auto paints, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides, fertilizers containing pesticides, pool chemicals, cesspool cleaners, wood preservatives, mercury including thermometers and thermostats, drain cleaners, moth balls & crystals, hazardous cleaners and polishes, poisons, acids and bases.

At New York's Central Park Zoo, a lion, a zebra, a giraffe and a hippo are best friends living a blissful domesticated life in captivity. When one of them turns up missing, the others search for him only to find themselves on a ship headed to the exotic island of Madagascar. When their boat wrecks, these native New Yorkers must take on a much different jungle in this computer-animated comedy.
