Watermain Flushing Update, Week of May 21st

Re: Hydrant Flushing Week 8

In order to maintain water quality to the consumers of the Town of Scituate, the Water Division will be flushing water mains on Tuesday EVENING starting at 10:00 p.m. To 4:00 a.m., Wednesday & Thursday during the day between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

This activity may cause temporary discoloration and/or interruption of your water service. This is not a Health issue. We do recommend you check the water prior to doing laundry.

The following streets are scheduled for flushing the week of: May 21, 2012.

Tuesday Evening:
Driftway
Kent Street
New Kent Street
North River Road (Kent Village)
Greenfield Lane
Ridge Hill Road
Meetinghouse Lane, Condos at Meetinghouse
Vinal Ave
Stockbridge Road
Common Street

Wednesday Day:
Satuit Trail
Chief Justice Cushing Highway from Rotary to First Parish Road
Doctors Hill Drive
Old Forge Road

If time permits:

Forest Lane
Trudy’s Lane

The above street schedule will be updated on a weekly basis as the flushing program progresses.
