MINUTES OF MEETING:

Call to Order 4:40 PM.

Chairperson Butler proposed deferring discussion on the agenda items in favor of the higher priority of reviewing the status of the operational changes and measures approved at the March 5 meeting. The other Board members agreed.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Training: Within the next two weeks, the Executive Director will arrange an MCAD on-site sensitivity training for all employees, arrange attendance at the Pilot Atty.’s workshop on Ethics and Code of Conduct for Public Employees, and arrange training in using the Commonwealth’s procurement system.

2. The Bookkeeper is responsible for inventory control, and will conduct physical counts of the Appliance and Equipment Inventories, and report on same at the May Regular Meeting.

3. On a continuing basis, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for the final review of refurbished vacant units.

4. The completion dates for: (1) distributing a memo to residents about tipping and contracting employees; and (2) modifying the Management Plan to specify that no gratuities whatever are to be provided to any Housing Authority vendors, Town employees or residents, and advising Housing Authority employees of same, are extended to March 16, 2007.

07-21: A VOTE to assign each maintenance person exclusive responsibility for one of the following site combinations: (1) Lincoln Park and half of Central Park; (2) Wheeler Park 1 and half of Central Park; and (3) Wheeler Park 2. Such assignments to be effective March 19, 2007.

Mary Dean made the motion. Susan Blair seconded it.

07-22: A VOTE to change Section II A. 2 of the Personnel Policy, Regular Work Hours For Maintenance Personnel from “7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (no lunch)” to 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with one-half hour of unpaid lunch.” Such change to be effective March 19, 2007.

Mary Dean made the motion. Susan Blair seconded it.

07-23: A VOTE to direct the Executive Director to present at the April Regular Meeting a policy for Equipment Disposal.

The Board agreed to meet at 4:30 PM on March 27, 2007 to continue the business of this Regular Meeting.
