Old Business

Voted: To approve the Grant of Easement for the Pedestrian/Bicycle Trail
on the Driftway property owned by Scituate Housing
Authority

The Grant of Easement document was executed as a sealed instrument on February 24, 2009 by Notary Public, Vincent Kalishes, III and Scituate Housing Authority Board members Mary Dean, George Trafton, Michael Collins and Patricia Butler.

On a motion by Mary Dean, seconded by George Trafton, it was unanimously
Voted: To rescind the original vote of February 10, 2009 motion made
contingent on confirmation of figures in proposal re: CenterPoint award
Ayes: 4 Nays: 0 Abstained: 0

On a motion by Patrica Butler, seconded by George Trafton, it was unanimously
Voted: To award the contract for Phase I of the Assisted Living Feasibility Study in the amount of $19,900 to CenterPoint Foundation and to authorize the Chairperson to sign the contract.
Upon favorable results of Phase I, Phase II to be awarded in the amount of $52,100, the fee for the total contract not to exceed the amount of $72,000.
Note: Contract to state that this agreement is between Scituate Housing Authority and CenterPoint and that invoices to be submitted to the Housing Authority, will be payable by the Community Preservation Committee.

The Director was instructed to notify Stephen Gardiner of CenterPoint Foundation of the award.
