The Executive Director advised the Board of Commissioners that the top candidate for the position of Maintenance Mechanic, Dan Lazarovich had been invited to attend the meeting to give the Board the opportunity to meet the qualified candidate and ask any questions they might have. After a period of discussion, the Board thanked Dan for coming and he left the meeting.

New Business
Part Time Seasonal Maintenance Helper-
The Executive Director informed the Board that due to the Maintenance Staff being shorthanded since April 29, 2011 and the resulting increased workload, she inquired with the Fee Accountant, Rich Conlon if there was a possibility of hiring a part time seasonal helper for the summer by tapping into the unused salary of the vacated maintenance position. Rich said the budget would allow for up to 32 hours/week at $15.00/hour for June, July and August. After some discussion, the Board advised the Director to post the position to local students for a week and to consider splitting the hours between two candidates at a lower hourly rate. It was requested that the Director email the Board the outcome.
Other suggestions for future help were offered, including contacting schools and churches that have community service requirements.
