Meeting Minutes
January 5, 2009

Present were Chairman, Frank Lynch and members Russell Clark and Michael Vazza, Director Jennifer Sullivan and Secretary Pam Mullin. Selectmen Shawn Harris was also present.

Motion by Russell Clark to approve agenda, seconded and approved unanimously.

Miscellaneous

Director announced the retirement of Public Health Nurse, Eileen Scotti. Her last day is scheduled for January 16, 2009. She may return for eight hours weekly as a vendor.

Director meets this week with the Advisory Board regarding the department budget.

7:10 p.m. 96 & 100 Glades Road/Public Hearing/Canale/Murphy Associates

Scott Arnold presented for the homeowner. There were no abutters present.

Mr. Arnold failed to present the necessary green cards. Meeting postponed until January 21, 2009.

7:20 p.m. 98 Lawson Road/Public Hearing/Ocean R.E./Spath Engineering

Phil Spath unable to attend meeting. Director Sullivan presented in his absence.
There were no abutters present.

Variances requested:

2’ vs. 4’ to groundwater
15.4’ vs. 20’ SAS to cellar wall
5’ vs. 10’ SAS to property line
DEP approval required
Deed restriction and contract for maintenance testing and inspection

Motion by Russell Clark to approve, seconded and approved unanimously.

7:30 p.m. Gannett Grille/Jamies Pub/Public Hearing/Constantine/Continued

Director has reviewed plan and returned comments to Grady Consulting for changes to septic plan. Assent to sell home on Glades Road is expected to be approved on the 20th of January. Allow DEP review to take between 30 and 60 days.

Return to Board of Health meeting on January 21, 2009 for hearing.

Motion by Russell Clark to adjourn meeting at 7:30 p.m., seconded and approved unanimously.
