August 1, 2012 – SLIP SIGN UP HOPEFULS! Potential patrons for slips at the Cole Parkway & Scituate Marine Park Marinas wait overnight at the Harbormaster's Office to be at the top of the waiting list for next year.

New Pumpout Boat
August 2012 – NEW PUMPOUT BOAT! Harbormaster Mark Patterson, Waterways Chairman Dick Eckhouse and Division of Marine Fisheries Pumpout Coordinator Thom Beaullieu with the recently acquired pumpout vessel. Cost for the vessel is defrayed by a grant from the state's pumpout program and will complement the pumpout station at Cole Parkway. Scituate, Marshfield, and Cohasset were designated by the EPA as Federal No Discharge areas in 2008.

September 17, 2012 - BONJOUR A NOS AMIS DE FRANCE! Hello to our friends from France – Selectman Joe Norton and Asst. Harbormaster Peter Lincoln welcome our sister city contingent at the Cole Parkway Marina. Private boating patrons George Dow and Jack Stebe volunteered to bring several of the visiting patrons aboard their sailing vessels for a harbor cruise.

Tim Murray, Selectman Rick Murray and Town Administrator Patricia Vinchesi at the Scituate Maritime Center.  Scituate hosted the annual Seaport Advisory Council event.
